We are closed on Sundays and all government gazette Public Holidays. We will be closed at 2.00pm on eve of Christmas, New Year and Chinese New year. Parents will be given ample notice should the Centre have to close on an unofficial holiday.

Payment Terms

  1. One month fee (non-subsidised rate) is payable upon enrolment for deposit.
  2. Fees paid (except deposit) are non-refundable non-transferable. Deposit is only refundable if there is two (2) month’s written notice for withdrawal of child.
  3. Monthly fees are to be paid not later than 7 days of each month.
  4. Fees should continue to be paid even when a child is taken ill or on holiday. There shall be no refund or waiver of fees under any circumstances.
  5. Payment by TT Transfer (DBS Current Account), cheque or CDA only. All cheques are to be made payable to ‘My Kidz Cottage Pte. Ltd.’.

Withdrawal / Refund Policies

Two month’s written notice (from the first of the calendar month) is required for withdrawal of child from the Centre, otherwise, the deposit paid is forfeited.

Withdrawal notice cannot be submitted in April and October.

Trial Period

There is a 2-week trial period upon enrolment. Should you withdraw your child within the first 2 weeks upon enrolment, only the deposit will be refunded. All other charges paid are non-refundable.

Insurance

All children registered with the Centre will be covered by the Group Insurance taken by the Centre (optional).

The insurance premium of $10 per year is to be borne by parents. It is calculated on per calendar basis.

Visit to the Centre

Parents are welcome to visit the Centre during its normal operating hours. Please make an appointment with the Supervisor.

In the interest of the children in our care, please do not enter the premises without making your presence known to the staff.

Meals

The children are served Halal, nutritious and balanced meal (fish, chicken, eggs, fruits & vegetables etc). For details of menu, please refer to notice board. We do not serve beef or pork. Children are allowed second helpings should they wish to have more. Parents can provide the child with snack if they wish to.

Excursions / Events

The Centre is authorised by this agreement to allow our teachers to bring your child out of the Centre to the playground and neighbourhood walk.

Excursion/events may be organized in conjunction to selected themes variety to our usual programmes. Children are encouraged to participate to enhance their development. Charges for excursions range from $10 to $50 depending on the number of places visited and admission fees. Parents will be informed and we would need parents’ endorsement to exempt the Centre and our staff from all liabilities.

Birthdays

Parents intending to celebrate a child’s birthday in our Centre should notify the respective form teacher a week before the actual celebration. Also please note that all parents who bring any food to be shared in school, have to provide the source of food and the ingredients found in the food. This will be recorded in the logbook of the centre.

Changes in Personal Particulars / Contacts

It is important that parents update our Centre of any changes in personal particulars especially contact numbers. This is to enable our Centre to contact the parents in the event of an emergency or for clarification of any doubtful matter.

Partnership with Parents

Parent-Teacher Conference
There will be a twice a year Parent-Teacher conference in May and November. The child’s teachers will observe and assess your child and share with you the information regarding your child’s progress and interests.
Child’s Portfolio
A termly portfolio will be given to the parents on the child’s development.
Parent’s Newsletter
A regular newsletter updates you on the development in school and shares activities or articles by professionals from the Education childhood professions. This newsletter is also a channel for parents’ views and suggestions.
Parental Workshops/ Talks
There will be a parental workshop or talks held on a quarterly basis in a year. Details of the talks or workshops will be posted on the online platform.

Communication Book
There will be communication book to update parents of the child’s progress
